We are delighted to announce that Prof. Giovanni Paoloni, distinguished historian of science and professor at Sapienza University of Rome, has accepted to deliver a plenary lecture at Cannizzaro 2026 – The International Congress celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Stanislao Cannizzaro, to be held in Palermo on April 14–17, 2026.
Prof. Paoloni is widely recognized for his studies on the history of chemistry, scientific institutions, and the circulation of knowledge in modern Europe. His lecture will add a valuable perspective to the interdisciplinary program of the congress, bridging the history of science with cultural and institutional contexts.
